With limited job prospects, Ahmed joined the Nursing Training to gain technical skills. He trained in patient keeping, and eventually securing an apprenticeship with a RedCross Kenya. His dedication and hard work paid off—Ahmed is now employed full-time and mentors other young displaced people, proving that skills training leads to self-reliance and long-term success.

Samuel arrived in a new country with limited English skills, making it difficult to secure a job. Enrolling in the Language and Literacy Program, he gained proficiency in English and digital communication. With confidence and support from career mentors, he successfully applied for a customer service job. Now, Samuel helps new refugees navigate similar challenges, proving that education opens doors.
